As Sourcing Expert Fresh (purchasing assistant) for our own brands, you support the Sourcing Manager with administration and supplier contacts. In doing so, you contribute to product quality, smooth purchasing operations, and high customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities:
- As purchasing assistant, you monitor the tender calendar and help ensure continuous supply to our stores
- Support the preparation of tenders and, as you gain experience, get the opportunity to independently complete smaller tenders
- Process and compare received quotes and create overviews that serve as a basis for supplier negotiations
- Organize tastings and actively participate in them
- Prepare supplier contracts based on agreed commercial terms
- Ensure compliance with legislation and our purchasing policy
- Together with the Sourcing Manager, help estimate purchasing volumes to correctly cover our needs
- As support for the purchasing team, carry out administrative and operational tasks and take part in meetings
Who you are:
- A strong interest in the fresh food category
- Comfortable with MS Office
- Good command of Dutch and French; English is a plus
- Eager to learn, comfortable in a dynamic environment, and able to handle tight deadlines
- Autonomous, precise, and good at planning
