As Lead Strategic Partnership & DSD Manager, you develop sustainable, customer-oriented, and economically strong value chains within Ultra Fresh. You define the strategic direction of partnerships and DSD (Direct Store Delivery) and ensure alignment with Delhaize's Sourcing strategy and vision.
You lead a team of Strategic Partnership Managers and support the implementation and continuous optimization of strategic partnerships. You're also responsible for sourcing strategy in the DSD Fresh space, working with suppliers to develop sustainable, forward-looking supply chains.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop the chain strategy and tactics related to strategic partnerships and DSD within Fresh, aiming to build sustainable, commercial, and efficient value chains
- Lead the Strategic Partnership team, support your colleagues, and foster engagement, development, and collaboration
- Manage the sourcing budget and the "Save to Invest" plan for strategic partnerships within Delhaize Belux
- Optimize synergies at the Benelux level and ensure Delhaize gets the best terms on continuity, price, quality, volumes, and delivery times
- Establish strong end-to-end processes between Logistics, Finance, Quality, Category Management, Sourcing, and strategic partners
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the vision and interests of Ultra Fresh
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and translate them into concrete initiatives
Who you are:
- Master's degree with an economics orientation (e.g. Commercial Engineering, Applied Economics, or Commercial Sciences); Finance experience is a plus
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role within retail
- Experience in Fresh Procurement and/or Value Chain Analysis & Optimization
- Passionate about retail with a strong understanding of complex value chains
- Experience in people management, able to motivate, develop, and inspire a team
- Highly organized with excellent coordination and analytical skills
- A convincing negotiator, able to bring stakeholders together around a shared vision
- Creative, strategic, and able to turn opportunities into concrete solutions
